The COACH Model for Christian Leaders has been out for 7 years now. More people read it last year than any other year before. That’s not the usual sales curve for books!
Why? Because the traditional ways of working aren’t working any longer. We need new approaches to old issues. Coaching skills make a difference.
With this book you’ll learn new ways to:
- Solve problems without having all the answers.
- Help others take responsibility for themselves.
- Ask powerful questions that stimulate creative thinking.
- Empower others with a less directive style.
- Create laser focus on what’s most important.
- Support others to take forward-moving action.
I know this works, because we have 15 years of training history to see the results in the lives of those we’ve trained, and those they interact with. The traditional ways of working aren't working any longer. We need new approaches to old issues. Click To Tweet
New Revised & Expanded Edition
Last year, I thought, since The COACH Model for Christian Leaders continues to find a ready audience, why not expand it to incorporate our latest learning and answer questions we’ve been asked?
It’s ready! The ebook released today. The print version will be available in October. You can purchase the ebook version in any platform ahead of the October 8th print release. (Click here for Kindle US, Kindle UK, Nook, or go to your favorite ebook platform.)
The challenge with all how-to books is helping the reader move from head to hands—to get into action. I expanded the focus on integrating coaching skills into day-to-day leadership roles, while not loosing the “role” of coach.I'm looking forward to reading the new edition of The COACH Model for Christian Leaders. The book incorporates our newer, more effective ways of teaching the content. These changes have made a big difference to our training participants, so I trust they will for you as well.
I also added a sample coaching agreement and two other appendixes to address the steady stream of questions we receive about coaching training, coach certification, and the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Overall, the new edition has 21% more text. It’s published by Morgan James Publishing for wider distribution to bookstores and all online stores.
